Realizing how much LinkedIn has to offer can be very overwhelming, especially when you first join and then wonder, “How am I going to build enough connections to make it worth my time?” Again, the profile page is going to be your best place to start, just as LinkedIn immediately takes you there to fill out as much information as possible. It is very important not to skip this step, or to just put minimal information here. You only get one chance for people to decide whether they want to connect with you. While some people might know you well and automatically click on the accept button, there are others who might be unsure of who you are or may need a little informational reminder to refresh their memory.
So where will they go? Directly to your profile.
This might be the only time they will ever look at your profile, which is why you must take the time to write your profile in order to leave an impression, or result in action!
What information are you finding most interesting and helpful when reading various profiles?
